Sales Executive

 Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Executive will be vital to our company’s growth throughout Canada and the US. They will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales opportunities, negotiating deals, and maintaining professional relationships and networks on behalf of the company. The ideal candidate is a motivated, goal oriented professional with demonstrated sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or virtual healthcare environment.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities 

  • Generate revenue with large, targeted, strategic opportunities. 
  • Conduct market research to identify software and services opportunities in the Virtual Healthcare industry.
  • Recommend prospects for new business.
  • Negotiate and closing deals, as well as handling complaints or objections.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects and maintain professional networks.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on Fonemed products and services.
  • Meet with potential clients, determining their needs, and assure solutions and contracts meet those needs and are deliverable by Clinical Operations.  
  • Collect and analyze information, and prepare data and sales reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Travel to and attend trade shows, events and client/prospective client meetings when appropriate.  

Skills and Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related discipline, equivalencies will be considered.  
  • Experience in a Sales or relevant role, preferably within a clinical/healthcare environment. 
  • Experience in telehealth and/or virtual healthcare is considered an asset. 
  • Proven track record of sales success; passion to win, is a self-starter, and has a sense of urgency to achieve results.  
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs.
  • Ability to negotiate and strong marketing skills.
  • Ability to adapt and grow in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
